To realize a prototype in a fast and functional way is fundamental for developers to test ideas and easily make changes. The Rapid Prototyping method turns a simple idea into a sample circuit board, which is ultimately used to manufacture the new product. The CAD software provides the specific layout data for the circuit board prototypes realization.
Once the circuit board material has been selected the circuit board can be fabricated, moreover depending on the requirements the material is structured with a circuit board plotter or a laser system. A laser system is used for ultra-fine structures and RF applications. Once the conducting paths are present on the circuit board - single- or double-sided -, this can be tested. If faults are detected or changes are requested, the data layout can be quickly modified.
